Primrose Rehab and Wellness, one of the best rehab centers in Kenya, is committed to offering transformative mental health and recovery services. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Psychologist specializing in Addiction Counselling to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counselling for clients struggling with substance use and addiction.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
Utilize various counselling models and therapeutic techniques to support long-term recovery.
Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client progress.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate clients and families on addiction, relapse prevention, and coping strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
A valid Chemical Dependency Counselling Diploma from SAPTA (Support for Addictions Prevention and Treatment in Africa).
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in addiction treatment or rehabilitation settings.
Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery processes.
Excellent communication, empathy, and crisis management skills.
Added Advantage:
Additional training or certification in counselling theories and psychotherapeutic techniques (e.g. CBT, Motivational Interviewing, REBT).

Primrose Rehab and Wellness is a growing mental health and wellness center dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals on their healing journey. We are currently seeking a Counselling Psychologist with a strong specialization in Trauma Therapy to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide trauma-focused psychological therapy to individuals and groups.
Utilize trauma-informed modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Art Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy.
Conduct psychological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Collaborate with other professionals in case management and holistic care approaches.
Contribute to team meetings, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field.
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a clinical or counselling setting.
Specialized training in trauma therapy techniques such as EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, Art Therapy, or Sand Tray Therapy (at least one required; more is a plus).
Must be at least 25 years old.
Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and a trauma-informed approach to care.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
