Open Positions

1. Addiction Counsellor (Ruai Branch)

  • Location: Primrose Rehab and Wellness, Ruai Branch, along Eastern Bypass, Nairobi
  • Type: Part-time, with the possibility of moving to full-time in the near future
  • Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Addiction Counselling, Counselling Psychology or a related field (a Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage)
  • SAPTA certification
  • Valid Ministry of Health licence (required)
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in addiction counselling
  • Availability to work at our Ruai branch along Eastern Bypass

2. Reliever Psychiatric Nurse (Weekends and Public Holidays)

  • Location: Both Primrose Rehab and Wellness branches: Thindigua, Kiambu Road, and Ruai, along Eastern Bypass, Nairobi
  • Type: Reliever, covering weekends and public holidays
  • Remuneration: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

Key requirements:

  • Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya, with a valid practising licence
  • Experience working in a mental health hospital
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays

3. Security Guard

  • Location: Both Primrose Rehab and Wellness branches: Thindigua, Kiambu Road, and Ruai, along Eastern Bypass, Nairobi
  • Type: Full-time
  • Remuneration: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

Key requirements:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE, Form 4) certificate
  • Physically fit and strong
  • Must not use drugs or alcohol. A mandatory alcohol and drug test will be carried out during recruitment.
  • Additional training or experience in cooking is an added advantage

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Counselling or a related field
  • Valid Chemical Dependency Counselling Diploma from SAPTA
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in addiction treatment
  • Strong communication and crisis-management skills
  • Added advantage: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, or REBT certifications

Counselling Psychologist (Trauma Therapy) (Closed)

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification clinical experience
  • Specialised training in trauma modalities (EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, Art/Sand Tray Therapy)
  • Must be at least 25 years old
  • Trauma-informed approach and strong documentation skills
